On this day 4 years ago, fierce rivals became loyal team mates in a move that would change the landscape of rugby league in the south of England. Members of the South London Storm and the West London Sharks met in The Merchant of Battersea pub to discuss a merger that would lead to the formation of London Chargers, London’s premier amateur rugby league club.
In the years since, we have welcomed hundreds players and supporters to our family. Along the way our top side became the first ever club to win the Harry Jepson Trophy in three consecutive seasons (2013-15) and then, having moved up a league, went on to win the Conference League South (2016). Our second team has also been a success winning the London & South East Premiership (2013) and narrowly losing in the following years. To cap it off, we have also been part of the prestigious Ladbrokes Challenge Cup from 2014 and will play against the Bridgend Blue Bulls on the
